Before the Battle of North Point, the focus of study on Wells and McComas, there were many things happening in the War of 1812.

Battle of North Point
The battle where Daniel Wells and Henry McComas are believed to have stopped British Major General Robert Ross.

The Writing of the National Anthem
Francis Scott Key wrote the National Anthem for the United States the day after Wells, McComas, and Ross died.
